Avoid prolonged contact with heat, swimming pools, and any chemicals. This includes personal hygiene products and chemical jewelry cleaners. Everyday products like household cleaners, lotions, hair products or other cosmetics can contain chemicals that can permanently alter or damage your jewelry.

Do not use traditional jewelry cleaners on your gold jewelry, or any other chemical-filled solution, including toothpaste (we've seen some wild things). Traditional jewelry cleaners are not intended for piercing jewelry, which goes inside the body as opposed to on the body, and the chemicals could cause an adverse reaction with the skin tissue.

Polish your jewelry with light pressure using a microfiber shine cloth.

Warm water and gentle soap, along with a soft bristle brush (such as a soft toothbrush), are the safest options for removing any debris. Ultrasonics intended for jewelry care are also recommended, though do not exceed the recommended cycle times or use any chemical cleansers.
