Who is Buddha Jewelry?

Since 2003 we have been creating high quality piercing jewelry to be transformative. We believe in quality, giving back, and the power of self expression through jewelry. Buddha Jewelry is designed by a piercer for piercers, with the highest quality, functionality, versatility and integrity in every design.

Co-Founder Rion began professionally piercing in 1991 and studied under Fakir Musafar for basic and advanced techniques. The world of piercing and piercing jewelry looked more than a little different at that time; often there were limited options for high quality jewelry and not many variations for unique jewelry designs. Rion found himself innovating new styles of piercing jewelry, and colleagues around the country started asking how to buy these new styles. Over the years as professional piercing progressed, Rion's design ideas elevated in parallel, becoming the acclaimed styles we know today. Rion continues to innovate designs that transcend both traditional piercing jewelry and classic fine jewelry, merging his intricate knowledge of materials and anatomy with uniquely complementary designs to enhance a variety of piercings.

Co-Founder Kat, the driving force and leader behind our brand, had a longstanding desire for beautifully pierced ears. However, these aspirations were constantly hindered by allergic reactions to traditional jewelry. This personal struggle became the catalyst for change and what drives our commitment to quality. Kat envisioned a brand where no one would have to compromise style for comfort, where beauty and allergen-free metals could coexist seamlessly to create Life-Lasting, Reaction-Free Jewelry for everyone.

Rion's Education and Design Process combined with Kat's Personal Journey and style aesthetic connects through the shared vision of creating high-quality piercing jewelry that seamlessly combines expertise, innovative design, comfort, and of course, style.

Absolutely. Buddha Jewelry is proud to be a longstanding Corporate Sponsor of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP), with over 15 years of active support and participation within the global piercing community.

What is The Mandala Project?

The Mandala Project allows us to directly give back to charitable organizations and communities in need through each purchase of our Mandala CZ Threadless End. We are proud to donate 50% of each Mandala Threadless End sold to a nonprofit charity whose values align with our own. Each quarter, we select a new nonprofit to support, allowing us to contribute to many amazing causes. Through this project, we aim to advocate, raise awareness, and stand in solidarity with the selected nonprofit.

How do you support the It Gets Better Project?

We proudly support the It Gets Better Project each quarter with a donation derived from the sales of our Rainbow Rowe Threadless End. The It Gets Better Project’s mission is to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) youth around the globe. My favorite design is out of stock. Can you text or email me when it’s back?

Some of our designs sell out quickly, and many are restocked on a regular basis. If a piece you love is currently out of stock, you can add your email or phone number directly on the product page by selecting “Notify Me When Available.” You’ll receive an alert as soon as that design becomes available again.

Because our collections are produced thoughtfully and in alignment with material availability and production timelines, restock timing can vary by design. While we’re often able to bring favorites back, specific restock dates aren’t always confirmed.

OMG! How are your pins so strong!?

Our ends are designed by a piercer with over 30 years of experience and are built to last. All of our threadless ends encompass a steel pin design. We recommend hemostat forceps for holding the jewelry directly under the design top, and then implementing the pin bend with your threadless post. Alternatively, some studios that carry our jewelry really enjoy using a pin bender tool or two pairs of hemostats. This helps to ensure the force of the bend falls fully on the steel pin, and does not weaken the gold weld.

Sometimes a gentle twisting motion when installing or removing your threadless ends can help ease the tension of the pin bend as well, making jewelry changes easier and safer on the pin/welding connection. Are your diamonds conflict-free?

Every diamond in our collection is a genuine diamond, meticulously sourced through the Kimberley Process (KP), a global initiative dedicated to quelling the trade of conflict diamonds. As proud partners of this organization, we guarantee that all our diamonds are conflict-free, offering you not just a dazzling accessory, but also peace of mind.

Are black diamonds genuine gemstones?

Yes! Black Diamonds are considered genuine gemstones. 95% of black diamonds in jewelry are, in fact, originally white diamonds, expertly treated to achieve their lustrous ebony hue. This common jewelry-treating process empowers us to provide you with the finest black diamonds at accessible prices, without compromising on quality.

Can I view my order history?

Yes, you can view your order history by logging in and navigating to the "Order History" or section. This will display all your past orders and their details.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept Shopify Payments, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay and all major credit cards. We are happy to offer Afterpay toUS residentsup to $1000 orders to help split up payments. Read this blog post to learn more about Afterpay.

When do I pay for my order?

Everything available on our website is in stock which means that we take payment when your order is placed. We are proud of our fast shipping, which is generally within the same week your order is placed- if not sooner!

How do I update my account information?

Log in to your account to view your order history, update your shipping address, and make edits to any of your information for future orders.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

I placed my order and received a confirmation email. How soon until my jewelry ships?

Once your order is placed, our fulfillment team will prepare it for shipment within 2-10 business days. Please note that paying for faster shipping does not expedite our fulfillment process. Rest assured, your friends in fulfillment are excited to build your dream delivery!

What if I paid for expedited/priority shipping?

Paying for expedited shipping does not affect fulfillment times, only the amount of time it takes for the shipment to be delivered after it has been picked up by the shipping carrier of your choosing.

We do our absolute best to prepare your orders as quickly as possible, however, we also prioritize accuracy and prepare shipments in the order which they were placed.

How do I track my order?

You will receive an email with your tracking number once your order ships. You can also log in to our website and visit the 'My Orders' section to check for any updates.

What if I received the wrong item?

In the unlikely event of getting the wrong item, please contact us with your order number and a photo of the wrong item. One of our team members will assist you in creating an exchange for the correct piece, as well as send you a prepaid return label.

What companies do you use to ship?

Currently we partner with USPS, UPS and DHL for all shipments. At checkout, you will have the option to select your preferred shipping.

Do you ship worldwide? What about taxes and duties?

Yes, we do! Our fulfillment team takes great pride in working closely with UPS to ensure customers get their orders quickly and safely, which is why we suggest that as the fastest way to get international orders.

Please note that Buddha Jewelry has no control over taxes and duties that are sometimes required by the receivers’ country. We are able to provide “CUSMA” forms (Canada, United States, Mexico Agreement) for international orders within North America, however, we have no way to give estimates on what the additional cost could be, as every country has different regulations based on price and order contents. We advise you to reach out to your local customs office if you are wanting more information. We are also not able to reimburse you for customs related charges.

If a client refuses custom fees at the time of delivery, the jewelry will be shipped back to us. The client will then be charged a 20% restocking fee and is responsible for all return shipping fees. This will be deducted from your returned order amount. The remaining balance (minus original shipping fees) will be refunded on the same payment method used on your order once the order is received back to us.

Do you offer any protection for shipping orders?

All shipments are covered by our insurance policy. If you have any shipping-related issues with your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

How do I process a return or exchange?

To initiate a return or exchange, please begin by completing our Returns & Exchanges Form. This allows our team to review your request efficiently and ensure it aligns with our current returns and exchanges policy.

Once your form is submitted, a member of our team will be in touch with next steps, including eligibility confirmation and return instructions if applicable. Please note that all returns and exchanges must be approved prior to sending any jewelry back to us.

How do I open a wholesale account?

Our wholesale jewelry accounts are thoughtfully curated and available to professional body piercing and tattoo studios, as well as fine jewelry retailers that offer in-house piercing services or specialize in piercing jewelry.

If you feel your studio aligns with our values, craftsmanship standards, and client experience, we’d love to learn more about your business.

To begin, please complete our Wholesale Account Application on our website. Once submitted, our team will carefully review your information and be in touch as soon as possible with next steps. This allows us to better understand your business goals, current jewelry offerings, and how we can best support your success with Buddha Jewelry.

Are you located in the UK or Canada? 

Once approved, your account will be set up through a dedicated regional wholesale portal to ensure direct fulfillment, localized support, and the best possible experience from our teams in your country.
